nausea and vomity in the evenings at 30 weeks

It's not heartburn (I do have heartburn occasionally so know when I have it and when I don't.)

It's just suddenly come on, around 6pm I start to feel nauseous and it lasts until the early hours depending on whether I actually throw up or not. There doesn't even have to be any food in my stomach. Neither filling my stomach nor emptying it helps.

Is this likely to be hormones?

Does anyone els have it?

My nausea came back in the 3rd trimester. It never gets as bad as the 1st trimester (not that I ever really had it that bad to be honest) but for sure that feeling of nausea and food aversions returned. I took gaviscon for it anyway, it seems to help a little. One thing is for sure, I can only eat about half the amount now because there's no physical space for food, so I decided that even a tiny bit of acid was having a bigger effect, before it gets to the burning feeling stage.

But also I think it's definitely hormonal, it just feels the same.

Oh YES!

The evenings are the worst - I find myself much more nauseous if I have had an active day, the amount of food doesn't matter. I'm at 29 weeks now and its been like this for just over a month.

Glad it happens to some else too.

Absolutely,
Bad in mornings if I don't eat within 15 mins of waking.
In the evenings, it has nothing to do with food as over full sickness if I eat at all, or heartburn, acid reflux and vomiting bike if I don't. Progresses back to this anyway even if I eat. As belly said! drinking gaviscon helps. (But only peppermint, aniseed = vom inducing)
Wishing you better

Yes! I feel sick and hot most mornings for about an hour at some point before 12 noon each day, usually have heart burn during the day and then in the evening, from about 9pm I start feeling nauseous. I've been feeling sick for my whole pregnancy but never actually been sick, it got a little better for a few weeks in the 2nd trimester but returned in the evening a few weeks ago! 4weeks to go!
