I'm 8 weeks pregnant and feeling really awful! Morning sickness, exhausted, bit of a cold and to top it off today I now have an upset stomach.

DD is 3 and we spent all yesterday afternoon in bed watching dvd's, and it's all we've done so far this morning. She has watched so much TV over the past few weeks! I'm trying to encourage her to do some painting/drawing etc, anything that involves sitting down but she either wants to be running around and jumping or watching TV.

She's turned into such a daddy's girl because he still has energy to play with her, I have to admit to feeling a little jealous.

Please tell me it'll get easier?

My 3 year old boy watched a lot of tv when I was pregnant ! I was so sick and so tired and at the end I was SO big it was my only option. Sometimes all day I felt SO bad. I would take him to the park for an hour but thats it. I now have an 9 months old and we do lots of fun things all together and its all forgotten!!

I had friends offering to help to take him to the park for 2 hours now and then, if you can, accept the offer.

Dont feel bad at all, its hard, but it will all be back to normal when the sickness goes and when the baby is there ! X

I second the previous post. Im 22weeks and most sundays are spent lying in the living room watching the fireman sam marathon. Dnt feel bad you need your rest especially at that stage. We went to the caravan for a week as r family holiday and I was around 8 weeks then. I spent most of the time sleeping while dh and ds watched dvds

Have you seen the '36 weeks and struggling with toddler' thread a bit further down? I know you're not that far on but there's a lot of us bringing kids up on a CBeebies diet at the moment! Don't worry about, just do what's to get through the day!

What's necessary I mean

Thanks everyone Smile

Still feeling dreadful so just trying to get through each day through whatever means possible!
