I'm 15 weeks pregnant after 5 miscarriages and have 2 DS's. I'm ancient at 42, and trying to run my own business.

But I'm sooooooooo tired! I sleep a good 7 or so hours a night, and then can nap for another couple during the day, and in between it's all I can do to get simple things done. My business is really suffering, I'm having all sorts of anxiety about money, and yet I still can't get up and get going...

Is anyone else in a similar situation? Has anyone got any tips or advice?

7 hours sleep wouldn't be enough for me pre pregnancy, never mind at 15 weeks. I'm currently 7 weeks with #2 and have a busy busy job. Some nights I'm in bed at 8pm. Can you get to bed earlier at night?

That's not a lot of sleep honestly - I'm 23 weeks now but have been sleeping 10-12 hours a day throughout.

Have you checked your iron levels lately? Anaemia's very common in pregnancy.

Wow. If you're getting anything done on 7 hours I'm in awe! I'm 11 weeks and pre-pregnancy it was not unusual for me to manage on 5-6 hours; I just didn't need that much sleep.

For the last 6 weeks or so I have been going to bed as soon as I get in from work, and sleeping for 10 hours a night. And I'm not running around after two other children.

Can DP step up and help with the kids/business for a couple of weeks? What's the plan after the baby? Can that be brought forward? You need to take care of yourself-you'll be no good to new baby or DSs if you're frazzled Flowers

Thank you, so first step is definitely more sleep at night! I'll get my iron levels checked again, although they usually come back OK, and I need to seriously make some plans to cope with the business side of things...

Yep I've always had epic issues sleeping. Pregnancy meant I had to go to bed v early! Still in that regime 39 weeks.
