On the pill... pregnant or pre menstrual?

Firstly, the only pre menstrual symptoms i usually get while on the pill are a bit of mild cramping a day or two before my period. Secondly i missed a pill a day or two before having sex with dh. We were on holiday and my pills were away in a cupboard - i usually leave them in sight by our sink to serve as a reminder in the morning. That was 2+ weeks ago (bank hol weekend) and i began my week long break on Thurs. No period, but that's not unusual because it normally takes 3 or 4 days before i come on.

But I've been experiencing mild cramping for a week or so. My breasts are sore and full. I am very hungry, have had slight nausea maybe two or three times and i'm tired, markedly more emotional and bloated. The thing is, all of these are pre menstrual symptoms i used to get before a period when we were ttc no. 1. I also have pcos so as it took 2 years to conceive no. 1 i doubt i would conceive another so easily. I'm going to wait another couple of days before doing a test but wondered what others think.

I'd love another baby but would be worried about my relationship with dh who has said quite clearly he doesn't want another baby. I'd worry also he'd think I'd done it on purpose to trap him as he knows I would be happy to have another. I genuinely forgot due to being out of routine and enjoying too much wine.

Which sort of pill are you on?

Missing one combined pill shouldn't leave you at risk (NHS page says additional precautions when you miss two), but POP would mean risk.

It's a combined one, but i was late taking the one after too (evening rather than morning)...

Also depends how far through the pack you were. Beginning and end more risky to miss, middle doesn't matter so much.

I wad about a week into the pack.
