Hello all, just looking for some support really. Started losing some dark brown stringy mucus on Tuesday night,so went to the hospital on Wednesday who did bloods and confirmed still pregnant but asked me to come back for a scan on Wednesday. I had an internal scan and the scan showed me as bring only just 6 weeks, with a sac etc as they would expect for this age, bit no foetus visible as too early. This was fine as I only thought I was 6 weeks 5 days so was feeling quite positive that things were fine, and that it was just too early so the next scan on the 11th would show the foetus. However,on Saturday lunchtime, I went to the bathroom and noticed I was losing some bright red blood, and have had this now continuously every time u go go the toilet and some on the pad.

I'm so scared that this is the start of a miscarriage and that I have almost 2 weeks to wait to find out :-( to make matters worse my DP who is in the armed forces has to go away on an exercise tomorrow until the day after the scan so I'll be on my own with my daughter trying to act as though I'm ok and nothing is worrying me. I know there is not a lot anyone can say but it had made me feel better posting this here, as only me and DP know so I can't talk to anyone else about what's going on.
If anyone else is in about nd similar position I really feel for you, and we just need to try and stay positive I guess. What will be will be.

I'm in a similar position, had a scan a few days ago because I've been noticing brown CM on toilet paper and they said I'm around 5 weeks - could see a gestational sac and yolk sac but no foetus yet. I'm going back for another scan in two weeks to see how things are.

After the scan the bleeding was a bit heavier - more brown CM and a hint of red in it, but it's gone back to just brown since. I read online than internal scans can often cause light bleeding so that may have been what it was. But two days later I'm still having a fair amount of brown CM and can't stop worrying. I feel like I'm just waiting for something to go wrong.

It's horrible isn't it Sad

I feel exactly the same way :-( although I'm not soaking pads or anything I'm losing a fair bit of bright red blood still,Reeth time I wipe there is lots of cm with blood..... trying so hard to not worry and stay positive but I'm afraid it's not looking good for me.
Fingers crossed for you chick that the cm stays brown and doesn't get heavier etc. When is your next scan?xx
