22 weeks and the 'belly alien' won't stay still...

I know, it's normal I'm just really tired and narky. This is no. 4, been there, done it but it was also unexpected and has taken a little longer to get used to. The child seems to never stop- I'm sure with the others I used to prod and poke for hours trying to get them to move about... I can't get this one to stay still!

Any tips, I am shattered, I slipped a disc back in March and still have soreness so night time is crap, takes ages to find comfy position to suit back and ever expanding bump, finally find 'the spot' and baby starts doing a tap dance on my bladder, usually accompanied by some sophisticated somersault type moves and a few martial arts moves leading to the inevitable loo break... Back to square one trying to find a comfy position.

I'm right there with you I don't remember DD ever moving this much. I am 24 weeks now and it's so much at times that I actually can't breathe for a few seconds until it stops, then I get a quick breath before it starts again!

Like clockwork as soon as I get into bed he will bounce into action, kicking down at the mattress no matter what way I lie, and I'm a tummy sleeper so finding a comfortable position is hard enough - lying on my sides has me waking up with burning hips every hour.

I don't suppose much can be done though, as much as it is at times I have to say I'm thankful when he does give me a good kicking, at least I know he's okay in there Smile
