Hi everyone. I found out on Thursday that I was pregnant which came as a massive shock considering Im 34 and told many years ago I couldn't have kids. Anyway I just need a bit of advice if that's ok. Sorry for sounding stupid. In June I missed a period and panicky took numerous tests and they all came back negative. I had a period in July and I was told off the hospital on Thursday that I'm pregnant and everyone is working out 6 weeks. Could I be more considering I missed June? Also I was told on Thursday that I have a water infection and prescribed anti biotics. I know u can get back ache when pregnant but I keep getting pain in the left hand side if my back aswell. Should I be worried. Thanks for listening. Sorry for the long post.

Firstly congratulations Op. Thanks

If you took numerous texts in Jne which were all negative and had a proper period in June then I think it would be highly unlikely you could be further on.

With regards the backache I would mention that to your MW or GP just to get it checked. It's probably unlikely and without wanting to alarm you. You can get back ache with an ectopic pregnancy so best to get it checked early. But it could also be because of your water infection. Just get it checked out on the safe side.

By the way 34 is young in comparison to me. I had DD when I was 37. Grin

You don't sound dumb at all. Trust me we all ask these questions with our first. You will probably have lots of other questions you have that you think are dumb but never be afraid to post. We are all here to help. Grin
