Big or small? Did your bump size match the weight of your baby?

First baby- having people tell me I'm MASSIVE in their own lovely wording- and then people telling me I'm not that big!!
What do you think?
I'm 26 weeks pregnant and a size 10/12 pre-pregnancy.
Also did your bump size match baby weight? I'm scared I'm going to have a big one! A lot of big baby's in our family!

I'm currently pregnant with my first and up until 34 weeks I was measuring a week ahead and now it seems to have slowed down... I'm currently 38+4 measuring at 36 weeks, the midwife doesn't seem worried at all so I'm not worrying, it may be just the way he is lying :). All through my pregnancy I've had everyone saying I'm huge and I look ready to pop but when I'm measured I'm 2 weeks behind, so I tend to ignore everyone now haha.

Seriously OP your bump is not huge, in fact I'd say its pretty small. I'm 24 weeks & mine is WAY bigger than yours! I swear I look like am 7 or 8 months already!

Last time I was huge too, & was expecting baby would be at least an 8lb'er, but ds arrived at bang on 7lb. The docs said I was carrying loads of fluid, so big bump doesn't necessarily mean big baby. Hoping thats the case this time around too!

I measured big and looked MASSIVE but my boy was only 7lb 5oz. I was convinced I was having a 10lb monster!

Huge bumps with first two babies. I measured myself with the measuring tape when I went into labour and bump had exactly the same circumference both times (48 inches !!).

DS1 was 7lbs 15 at 40+5
DS2 was 9lbs 7 at 38+5

So no bump size -weight connection for me !

Am 20 weeks on #3 and like a whale already...

I think your bump is quite neat looking, definitely not huge at all.

My bumps were quite small and neat both times, DC1 was 8lbs and I carried pretty much the same with DC2 who was 9lbs 3ozs. The midwife was quite shocked! Expecting DC3 at present, dread to think what size this one will be.
