And when I got up to get something. I noticed my pants are wet.
I'm only 29 weeks pregnant with DC2 and didn't had anything like this with my first.

Should I contact the maternity ward? (I don't have a midwife as where I live we only have limited midwife's)

Baby is moving a lot.
I only have pain down below and between my legs it feels like it is going to tear apart..

Yes Hartmel phone and get advice x

Bondy83 · 10/08/2014 22:29

Definitely ring the hospital and get checked out incase your waters have gone fingers crossed all is ok x

AnotherStitchInTime · 10/08/2014 22:31

Yes phone. Put a pad on and lie down for half an hour, if more liquid gushes out then could be your waters.

Is the pain constant or coming and going? If coming and going like early contractions then time them.

It feels more like baby is trying to engage. As there is a lot of pressure down there.
My pelvic area is so sore especially when standing.

Could it maybe be that I irritated my cervix this morning when I made love with DH. (We didn't do it for about 6-8 weeks as I was not in mood or i didn't feel comfortable down there sometimes even my stitches from first time giving birth hurt like crazy)

DH is watching DS so I lied down if I'm again wet when I get up I will ring. I even changed to fresh underwear..

Could be also ligaments softening further and pelvic bones moving to accommodate the baby, can cause PGPP/SPD.

Late pregnancy can make you a little incontinent, especially if baby is descending onto your bladder. Pelvic floor exercises help, wish I had done mine more often, still have the odd trickle 7 months after dc3's birth Blush

hartmel · 10/08/2014 23:09

I had extreme Ligament pain with DS. But with this one I got spared so far..

Oh and maybe I should mention that DS is 11 month old. So the age gap between them will only be 13 month

Take it easy on yourself and be very careful when lifting. Your ligaments will have been in a more relaxed state since you got pregnant with ds because of the small gap between them. I found with my second and third pregnancies that I got pelvic pain earlier due to the amount of lifting you do with a toddler.

hartmel · 11/08/2014 02:15

Just an update, I lied down for an hour and when I got up everything was dry. Pressure is still there but I can tell it is the baby trying to engage (my son was engaged very early on so know the feeling)

DH is watching me like a bodyguard that I'm not lifting DS to much or anything else. Grin He is so supportive.
