Hi all, wanting some reassurance/advice (sorry in advance if this is TMI)

I will (hopefully) be 6 weeks tomorrow and this is my 1st pregnancy. Today at work I had an "episode" where I suddenly felt really faint and hot and had to trott out to the ladies.

Luckily I made it in time but I felt like I was going to collapse, had blurred vision and started dripping with sweat and my bowels literally emptied there and then :( (warned you TMI!)

Anyways, once I'd gotten over the shock I did manage to just go back to work, just been feeling nauseous all day.

Should I be concerned about ectopic pregnancy as feeling faint and diarrhoea are symtoms? I haven't had any bleeding, but have a bit of stomach pain but have had this on and off for the 2 weeks anyway. Don't want to be an overreacting first timer abut then also don't want to be ignoring something that is potentially serious. Thanks MNers in advance!

May just be a bug but no harm in checking with your midwife, do you have 1 yet? If not, see your GP/walk-in clinic.

This happened to me about 2 days before I found out I was pregnant. Came on suddenly and subsided soon after. Could just be hormones sending your insides loopy

Why don't you drop in to your local epu? You could tell them your concerns and maybe they'll scan you?
