Morning sickness.. strange to miss it?

I know so many of you are gonna look at this and wonder what on earth is wrong with me, but hear me out.

I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant, starting to show nicely, but my morning sickness was the biggest thing that made me feel pregnant (minus the thickening waist, the constant exhaustion and a new love of pickles) I miss it because it felt like a real connection with my baby! Am I alone in this?

You're mad, I hated every second and felt alive again when it stopped! But I think what you seem to mean is that you are in that weird stage in between 1st Trimester symptoms where you feel soooo pregnant, and the showing/feeling movements phase at 20+ weeks (or later, it can be for some people). It's a funny feeling being 'back to normal' after all that time! Soon you will feel quite pregnant again!

That is exactly it, without the morning sickness I am just a slightly fat looking woman that cries at salmon sandwiches. If it wasn't for the hormones, I'd have to do a test every day to reassure myself!

I kind of get you, my morning sickness came in waves, when I felt sick I just wanted it to go away, when it went away it made me worry a bit that not everything was okay. I still suffered with other symptoms so I knew deep down everything was fine. 12 wk scan the baby was really energetic. Just had 16 wk check-up, so nice to hear heartbeat and now I'm getting fluttering. Still finding I am eating little and often otherwise I start to feel sick (nothing like what it was in 1st trimester). Really am now ready for this sickness to go.

i had an early scan at 9 weeks due to bad stomach pains and the midwife said that baby is healthy, saw the heartbeat and all was well. This is my first child, and I am worried all the time about something not being okay, but I have another scan on the 19th to put my fears at bay. I still can't eat a full meal as that makes me feel nauseous but apart from that I am barely being sick. I think I'm making a mountain out of a molehill to be honest Grin Blush
