Anyone else expecting a premature birth?

I'm 33+3 with DC4, other 3 DC were born at 35+5, 35+6 and 35+4, needless to say I'm not expecting to go full-term this time around. Is anyone else expecting their baby to arrive early?

Definitely, my hospital bag is already packed, crib built, clothes washed etc. my mum is driving me mad expecting me to go full-term though Hmm, I've been told "you don't want to have her too early". No I don't want to have her early but I'd be daft if I didn't expect to.

How far along are you now?

Yep most probably! DS1 was born at 29 weeks and DS2 at 35+6. Both happy, healthy little boys. I'm 20+4 now and panic at every sensation of moisture down there incase my waters have broken! They went at 23weeks with DS1! Fun n games!!

Wow 23 weeks, how on earth did you not give birth until 29 weeks?

Honestly, I've no idea?! I had an amino-infusion soon after they went then I was going back weekly to be scanned to make sure there was enough water around the baby. Thankfully there was always enough near his face for him to 'breathe'. Basically I just sat still for 6.5 weeks til my miracle arrived. He's 11 soon!

What do they know?! Pfft! These little people are amazing, and stronger than we give them credit for! I'm 20 weeks with no3, had HEAVY bleeds(subchorionic hematoma) all the way through and this can increase the risk of PROM. I'm constantly on high alert for any signs of moisture down there! Scary stuff. Hope you're coping ok. Send me a PM if you want to chat/bit of reassurance. You're doing well though!

I've got my anomaly scan tomorrow. They should be able to tell if there's still a significant bleed(of course there is, It started again last night after 5 days of nothing Angry ) I don't want to go! Anyway, I'll stop moaning! Haha. Good luck for tomorrow!
