Anyone had a kidney infection?

I am worried I have one. Am 13+2 and over the last day or so have developed a nagging lower back pain. It is right at the base of my spine on one side only.

At first I thought it was muscles but then it'd be both sides, surely? Am considering taking a sample in to GP.... Has anyone else had a KI and did it feel like this?

I've recently has a UTI that caused kidney pain on my left side. I've had a course of antibiotics but it hasn't gone they found leucosites again today in my urine.

I had it twice in my last pregnancy. It was so painful I honestly thought I was going into premature labour.

Antibiotics, quickly!

It is not that bad, Corporate (yours sounds ouchy!) but I have a long history of kidney disease so don't want to muck about.
