Hi,

Freaking out a bit here and really only after other people's experience. I'm 5-6 wks pregnant and already have a DC almost 3. First pregnancy was unplanned and feels a life time ago, can't remember what symptoms I had at this point at all.

Had a missed miscarriage a few weeks ago and have got pregnant again soon after. I'm worrying that I have no symptoms other than boobs a bit bigger and uterus feels heavy and sort of firm. Other than that feel great but really worried as didn't have symptoms with the last pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage.

What do others feel at this point? I'm interested to hear.

Thanks

Don't worry! It's still early days, I think at 5 -6 weeks I felt alright apart from having the nose of a blood hound and the boobs of a waitress from Hooters!

There's a thread on here for those preg after mc/ mmc. They're a really supportive bunch if you fancy heading on over.

In a few weeks when you're hugging the toilet bowl you'll be glad you had a bit of respite! Grin
And congrats Thanks

Nipples I could barely touch, boobs suddenly got bigger and woke at 2am every morning starving hungry. Other than that I actually felt pretty normal, possibly better than normal, till about 9 weeks when I just started to feel a bit hungover everyday until 12 weeks.

Bellyrub1980 · 26/07/2014 20:24

Oh yeah, I do remember having a blocked nose for the first trimester. Weird!

bakingmad83 · 26/07/2014 20:27

Congrats on your pregnancy :) At that stage I just had sore nipples and was a bit more tired than usual. I didn't get any nausea till about 7 weeks and even at 18 weeks my boobs haven't changed much in size. One of my friends didn't really have any symptoms at all in pregnancy, so I guess she was one of the lucky ones.

squizita · 26/07/2014 22:27

Yeah I was worried like you after my MC when I was 1st pregnant - it is quite normal.
The sickness etc' didn't really kick in until after 6 weeks for me.
At 5 weeks I was a weeny bit tired and had one sore boob (one!) and some bloating.

I prayed to feel more pregnant.

My prayers were answered with flooring exhaustion and violent morning sickness weeks 7-11!! Grin Plus nose bleeds and constipation from hell.

Hope you get some reassuring symptoms, but not too reassuring haha!

squizita · 26/07/2014 22:28

...as in they arent extreme, not that they won't reassure. :)

wokeupwithasmile · 26/07/2014 22:54

I was checking threads like yours a week ago because I was feeling very little at 5weeks something. Now I wish I was back there! I have low bp and LOTS of nausea, I can barely function, especially with the heat!
So I would not worry, you are still early and it might hit you in a few days, or you might be one of the lucky ones who does not feel much! I wish!

martinadixon1982 · 27/07/2014 09:26

I'm 4 weeks now and have constipation lower back ache and exhausted o and early hours of the morning I wake up feel so nauseous and my mouth constantly taste like I've been sacking on a coin lol I guess it's all good though I had a fee miscarriages so very nervous still really hoping everything is ok this time as I had to have clomid to conceive but luckily worked on first round at 50mg so try not to worry everyone is different I'm sure u will get lots of symptoms soon :) xxxx

ilovechops · 27/07/2014 09:47

Thanks all! Typically last night woke at 2am with nausea for an hour and this morning definitely feel a bit rough and sort of sick-y. Now I remember this from first pregnancy so a lot less worried!

Saying that I also wonder when people strt to show in second pregnancy as I feel like I already have a bump!! I am quite slim (size 8-10) but def not skinny but perhaps it's more obvious. Feel like I did when I was 12 wks last time already size wise!!! Hoping is just bloating and will pass...

Sick
Very tired
Changed sense of taste (couldn't drink coffee, tasted vile)

squizita · 27/07/2014 10:00

Chops I was also 8-10, had a bloat bump which vanished weeks 12-16, then an actual bump! Grin

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 27/07/2014 10:14

No symptoms at all. Hasn't been a problem.

Lisaxb182 · 27/07/2014 10:16

Hey everyone... I found out on Thursday I'm pregnant :)) I think I'm probably about 6 weeks and all I'm getting is period like cramps and my boobs are slightly sensitive... Just feels like my period is on it's way.
So worried I'll go for a scan and there will be nothing in there lol.
Xx

petitverdot · 27/07/2014 10:21

Tender, heavy boobs, ravenous hunger and what felt like period pains (they'd gone by 6 weeks ish though). I've been lucky enough not to have had many of the more uncomfortable symptoms, now 31 weeks and all progressing normally so far Smile

Inbl00m · 27/07/2014 20:48

Had no symptoms at 5-6 weeks. Have got a few more now at 32 Grin

monkeyfacegrace · 27/07/2014 20:55

I'm 6 weeks now.
I look like this.

I'm tired. So, so tired. My boobs hurt. I'm constantly bloody hungry!

My body is broken Sad

What symptoms did or do you have at 5-6 wks?
beccajoh · 27/07/2014 20:57

DD was full on yucky-ness by then. Nausea, exhaustion, huge sore boobs, the works.

With DS (unplanned) I hadn't even realised I was pregnant at that point and never had any symptoms!

Eatscones · 27/07/2014 21:48

I was just starting to get nausea by 6 weeks for both my pregnancies, other than was just a bit more tired.

dixiedoodle · 27/07/2014 21:50

I'm there now and can identify mildly nauseous mornings, ravenous the rest of the day, sore boobs, awareness of activity/energy in my womb and thrush... for now Smile

dixiedoodle · 27/07/2014 21:52

and unusually tired afternoons, enjoying the catnaps though.

ilovechops · 28/07/2014 08:36

I guess everyone feels these things on and off too? At times I feel really a bit weird and nauseous and then today I've woken feeling absolutely normal except for sore nipples lol.

Thank goodness, thought it was just me! Am 5 weeks and alread from size 8-10 to a 12. Very few of clothes fit anymore. Luckily had the same prob last time, before miscarrying at 7 weeks (really, nauseous last time, was even sick a couple of times, but was still drinking caffeine then & commuting 4 hours to work) so bought size 12 knickers. Have just spent £18 on maternity top & dress in JoJo Maman Bebe Sale & bought new pair of drawstring truosers, in case my little tyke lasts longer this time, so I'll have something to wear; also two tops from charity shop for £8 as my boobs are bigger. No one warns you about the body image change do they? Used to be steaight up & down like boy, now (and last time) I have womanly curves for first time. Used to be 34b/c pre first pregnancy late last year / early Jan, now already on 36c and getting too small!

houghtonk76 · 28/07/2014 12:58

PS my work commute is now 20 mins car share with colleague, instead of 4 hours into London & back by train. Was there in Feb during tube strikes / floods -travelled 7 hours to & from work one day, at work 6 hours. Miscarriage does have its pros, made me stop flogging myself!

Lally112 · 28/07/2014 13:08

for all of mine it was the boobs, oh the sensitive boobs. sort of miss them

ilovechops · 28/07/2014 14:01

Houghton that commute is crazy!! Where were you loving do you mind me asking? I wouldn't do that for any job, must of cost an arm and a leg too!!
