Pregnant, am I?

Hello Mums!Grin

First off sorry if this is the wrong place to post, I am a shiny new member! (though you must hear that all the time!)

I am Amy and I need some help ladies!

I am trying to figure out if i am pregnant, I think it maybe too early to test. I am feeling nauseous, tired and I cant seem to cool down. I also have this odd pain in the lower left hand side sector of my stomach/abdomen. I am sure the boobs have gotten a bit larger (not by much!) and I need a wee more (that could just be me imagining things!).

Another thing, maybe TMI but does your discharge change? I swear I have more than usual throughout the days!

I don't think its a cold/flu/bug and I am certain its not Aunt Flo. My body just feels different, I feel different.

I did the dance about 7 weeks ago. please can someone advise me?

Just do a test. Get a first response. I personally wouldn't use the digital ones as I didn't find them as sensitive. Use first morning urine.

If you dtd 7 weeks ago and caught then a test would show positive by now!

i loved 'caught' too ! made me smile.

Darquesse, its a beautifully scary thought but i would adore to be pregnant.

Well i bought a box of three hcg strip tests and a normal p test. Have done one of the HCG tests and a BFN. Not feeling great, a bit emotional really, keep looking at the test thinking its going to change xxx

Sorry to hear you are disappointed, if you read through the conception boards you will pick up lots of tips and can chat with others who are going through the same as you.

You certainly have all the signs of pregnancy. Take another test in a few days I took my 1st test on a Sunday no line I did another on the Wednesday which showed a very faint line by the Saturday I did another showing a very bold positive line also try doing it on your 1st wee of the day.

i am so glad i signed up for this site. its the support doing a test on your own (the dad isnt around - he heard the words 'i think im pregnant' and ran) is daunting, but knowing i had all of you to come back to made me feel united.

Well I am glad I made you smile :) hope you get.y I your bfp soon!! Assuming thats what you want? Maybe try with first morning urine?

Cookielove -I was/still am a little nervous and scared about what a BFP brings but it is what i want.

I hope i have caught the baby bug!! :)

No BFP today either :( hopefully soon though! Must get trying! We weren't trying for bubba so this false alarm was a shock but we have decided to try for one now! How exciting! Hopefully will have good news soon! Xxx

Gosh that's quite a turnaround. Yesterday he wasn't in the picture due to just thinking you might be pregnant. Maybe sleep on it?

What brand are you using? If it's a cheapie brand, they are not as sensitive to the level of hormone as the well known brands.

The first time we were ttc, I used a cheapie test strip and it gave a bfn, I then used a clearblue digi the next day and we got our bfp.
The second time (our second dc), I did a fr on the estimated af day (my periods were irregular too) and got our bfp. Both times we were ttc, it took some time to get pregnant but we got there in the end! So don't worry if it doesn't happen immediately.

It's an exciting time! If you are planning ttc, it is reccommend that you start taking a(400mg a day) folic acid supplement up to 3 months before getting pregnant and continuing to take folic acid throughout the pregnancy to prevent birth defects. Fc for you
