I was given this as a present and I'm sure it is lovely and what my aching limbs need but I don't know if it is safe when pregnant? Am I being precious? I know aromatherapy oils can cause problems.

Hello! If you look on the Neal's Yard Remedies website, they tell you exactly what to avoid during pregnancy. You're not being precious at all. If it is not suitable, keep it as a lovely treat for when your baby is born. What a lovely gift Smile

I've just had a quick look, there is a drop down box from 'remedies', go into contraindications.

I would be very surprised if any "off the shelf" cosmetic product contained enough essential oils to do any harm to anyone.

Essential oils can give you chemical burns so any product that could get directly on to skin is going to be heavily diluted anyway (if you buy pure essential oils they normally come with a child-proof lid or a stopper that only allows out a drop at a time because of this). Plus if you use it properly you are going to dilute it even further in a whole bathful of water!

Enjoy your bath :)
