lightening/ 3/5ths engaged, could it be soon?

just a little survey of experienced mums, did the head engaging mean you were near? I'm 37+4, 1st baby, head was 2/5ths engaged at previous MW appointment, then this week I felt everything move down/forwards and MW said she is 3/5ths engaged.... really want to hope this means I won't go over!!

I've been 4/5th engaged since 32 wks (now 36 wks) so you still have some to go! My mw doesn't think it's a sign he'll be born any sooner, he's just gotten quite comfy where he is I guess!

I'm sorry it won't be what you want to hear but I was 3/5 or 4/5 engaged from 34 weeks and went into labour at 40+4!

I was 3/5ths engaged from 36 weeks and went to 41+6 I am afraid.

Meaningless I'm afraid. Dd was fully engaged and stayed there from 31 weeks. Born at 39 weeks. First babies tend to engage early and it doesn't mean labour is close.

Fully engaged from 31 weeks must have been uncomfortable showy!!
