This weekend was crazy for me.. Saturday to Sunday night I woke up with a couple braxton hicks they where not painful like regular contractions but I could barely breath and they where so uncomfortable.. Well to top it up I had to run to the loo because I was sooo nauseas. Well I did throw up.. All day Sunday I felt sick and very tired. Got a couple braxton hicks. In the evening when I made my husbands lunch for work I got them so bad I had to stop doing what I was doing and breath them out.. At night, I got them too but on top of that as soon as I moved onto my back I got such a stabbing pain in my middle back (where the gall bladder, liver etc is) then I jumped up from the pain. When I woke up this morning I can barely walk because my back feels like it is going to collapse and is painful.. Oh I should mention I got my gall bladder removed in December..

I called my doctor but she is not in and I can only see her tomorrow..

The receptionist offered me that I could see a different doctor in the office today or go to a&e

What should I do???

I'm 25+2 weeks and have a 10 month old son..

Sorry it got so long SmileSmileSmile

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

If you can see a different doctor today I'd do that. If not then A&E. Have you phoned the midwife service?

HopefulHamster · 14/07/2014 15:39

Agree with above poster, you definitely need to be seen, so I'd start with the GP given that A&E could be a long wait with your ten month old.

Unfortunately where I live they have limited midwife's so not everyone gets one. I didn't get one..
So just seeing a regular Gp through out my pregnancy and closer to the end the deliver doctor..

I will phone back and ask to be seen by the other doctor

Is the pain in your back where your gallstone pain was?
If you have someone for son go to A&E unless you're confident it is your back and not a dislidged stone tgat has been "hiding".
I had my gallbladder removed (i d had lots of small stones) they were very repetitive about going to A&E over any stone like pains.

seasavage · 14/07/2014 15:44

It probably is ok ... Just better to be checked out.

It is mostly in back. It feels like someone hit me pretty bad in my rip cage. And when my bladder is full they pain is even worse..
