Really normal! I was lucky that I wasn't particularly uncomfortable or tired (though I had lots of naps) and I pottered about and went shopping. Woke up with early labour pains 4am the next day.

I was in a slightly bad mood though the day before - I'd seen the consultant who'd told me baby wasn't engaged and the fact I'd had no twinges indicated I wasn't close to going into labour. He'd booked my induction and I wasn't happy! Just goes to show, no symptoms doesn't mean it's not imminent!

Baby 1 - full of energy, walked 6 miles, started early contractions that evening whilst doing supermarket shop and managed to finish it OK.

Baby 2 - lots of energy, up early sorting out dd1 and breakfast before we had to vacate the kitchen for the builders.

Baby 3 elcs so didn't labour.

I just felt normal both times - like any other day. No special signs for me.

For DS1 I had felt out of sorts all day. I had a sweep in the morning so I was having twinges and pains all day. Actual recognisable labour started about 10pm and lasted 45 hours.

With DS2 I woke up feeling fine. Made DH's packed lunch, got DS1 ready for a day out with MIL and my waters broke as I kissed them goodbye. I wasn't having any contractions so carried on doing last minute jobs for an hour or so until the pains started. I had a 9 hour labour.

Just normal both times. No warning and my waters just popped late at night.

Sooooo grumpy, but I was 10 days overdue. Did loads round the house, but wish I had rested as labour started at midnight then lasted 34 hours.

Really fucking fed up of being pregnant and even more fed up of seeing a different insensitive midwife every fucking time they sent me to the hospital to check bp.

Dc1 - was on great form - went shopping, picked up the pram, went to a party and stayed up til 3am Grin

Dc2 - felt really ill, running a temp etc. in fact ooh GP prescribed some anti-bs. Also tore an absolute strip off dh for buying the wrong kind of soup Blush

Dc3 - just felt really tired and a bit out of sorts.
