baby still having more active days

I am still finding it hard to know if my baby's movements are normal.
Now 39+1, and he has more active days. This is usually being more active all day, rather than an episode of sudden increased movement. I usually prefer days like this (today being one), but since i had to be monitored for reduced movement last week I'm more worried and more unsure about what is normal! I know that it seems usual for him to have changeable movement sometimes, quieter days, more active days, but whether this is how it should be, i don't know! x

Mine is the same

Do the quieter days coincide with you having a busy day? I am only 26+3 and find that this is definitely the case for me.

I'm the same so glad I'm not in the same boat. I've been to PAU twice in the last few weeks (sent by my midwife) due to reduced movement and both times I've been made to feel like i'm wasting their time. It's so difficult to know what is and isn't normal. I thought that I'd notice more regular movements now I'm on mat leave but no such luck.

At least I'm not the only one.
Annoyedbyalfiebear, sometimes quieter days are when I'm busier yes, but yesterday he was a bit quiet and today he was active, and i had just normal days. I am taking antibiotics at the moment, but they are meant to be quite safe in pregnancy, and i don't see how they could make movement fluctuate. Plus, he is often quiet one day, active another, so its nothing new. Wish I'd just pop now to be honest x

Just wanted to let you know mines the same. I'm 37 weeks and throughout she's had quiet and active days, this seems to be the normal for her. Still doesn't stop me worrying though and like you I just want her out now!
