have just found out I am pregnant. about 5 weeks.
I have 3 dc age 15,14 and 13 with xp.
do has d's age 8.
this was not part of my plan, been told I cannot conceive!!
what do I do am really torn.
just bought house I am the higher earner so cannot afford smp only. then childcare costs so much too.

could see my life returning as my dc are getting older.

but u have no dc with dp and it would be lovely. he is happy. with whatever I decide but I am so unsure.

whichever way I go I think I will have regrets

help. anyone been here?

Sort of. We have DTs. I am earner, DH home with the boys. He was going back to work when DTs start school in Sept. we really struggled from 0-4, were relieved to be through the baby stage.
In Dec we found I was 8 weeks pg . We were also told we couldn't have more.
We could've face a termination, but it has taken months to come to terms with 'starting again'. Financially it will be really hard ( I can only take 4-5 months mat leave) but I am 35 weeks now and quite looking forward to meeting this little one.

It is a really hard decision. I hope you are ok.

A bit similar. Last year I found out I was PG at 24 weeks so really had no choice (honestly though, and this upsets me to say when I see DD crawling around- I think if I had found out sooner I probably would have had an abortion- and for the reasons you already stated)- Mortgage (HIGH) nursery fees (CRIPPLING)

We have two older boys aged 11 and 13- life was getting easier- more disposable income to do 'nice things'- nice trips away etc.

Im constantly tired- DD doesnt sleep very well and my job is stressful- ill admit its hard- but I couldnt be without her now.

im sorry I may not be more help- I think I would have regretted an abortion deep down- DD is just amazing. But im broke and exhausted

thank you both.

I am so torn.
if you'd have asked me last week before I knew I would haversack abortion. but that's not so easy.

Dp appears to be burying his head a bit. just said no idea what he wants to do. up to me apparently
