Hi no this happened to me at 7 weeks too- orgasm triggers your cervix which will release any blood hanging about from implantation- you'll be fine x

Chaby · 04/07/2014 18:37

I had bleeding in early pregnancy. Was told brown blood usually nothing to worry about, red more of a concern as its 'fresh' blood. If you are concerned speak to your gp ASAP and they can refer you to the EPU. Good luck x

Brown blood is old blood, as people have said. My mc started with red/pink blood. I had brown discharge throughout my twin pregnancy - I had a cervical erosion. Really normal, and nothing to worry about.

KatoPotato · 04/07/2014 19:01

I had brown blood bleeds almost every four weeks, so much so I didn't know I was pregnant until 5 months xx

I had brown discharge at 6 weeks which went on for about 10 days and also at 10 weeks which went on for a few days. The gp said it could happen every month when my period would have been due, and said it was due to hormonal changes. It was a very worrying time and I was permanently worried about going to the loo in case it had started up again.

I really hope you get some reassurance on Tuesday and can get your mind put at rest Flowers

Hi hun Smile
Do you have an emergency Ante-Natal / Early Pregnancy Unit nearby wgo could possibly scan you? I only ask, as I spotted, brown discharge at around 6 weeks, and was told by a lot that if it's brown, it's nothing to worry about but was scanned anyway. Baby's heartbeat was there, but then at 12 week scan, I was told the unfortunate news that baby hadn't grown past 8 weeks, and I'd had a missed MC Sad

I don't wish to scare you, but it may be worthwhile, just to ease your mind, a trip to the hosp?

I also had a 2nd MC after that one, and am currently 6 weeks pregnant and can't relax until I get a positive 12 week scan Sad

I genuinely hope all is well for you, and I'm pretty sure it will be, but just go get that reassurance Smile Good luck x

Few days before my 12 week scan I had a heavy brown discharge, within a day I had brown clots. Within few days heavy red bleeding. Found out at scan baby hadn't grown past 6 weeks so was a missed miscarriage. When this happened I was told brown blood can be totally normal but for me the clots were the bad sign. I have had two successful pregnancies since. Hope all is ok.
