Hi I was just wondering what's the best washing powder and fabric softener to wash baby's clothes? Also is too early to start washing clothes and packing my hospital bag? I'm 30+5 and very eager to start sorting things

I'm 34+2 and about 32 weeks I washed all babies clothes and bedding just with tescos non bio baby. Smells lovely and fresh, and the conditioner left everything lovely and soft, so no complaints.

Hospital bag has been packed since 26 weeks due to a episode of pre term labor.

I still use persil non bio and comfort fabric softener den ds because that's what they give in the bounty pack and I've been 'too scared' to change it. They also give you coupons for dettol antibacterial stuff do you don't have to do a hot cycle. But again the fear makes me wash on hot anyway. Not so much now but for muslin cloths, bedding, pooey babygros and towels I did most stuff on 60.

Hope that helps Xx
