Aaargh. Does anyone else have pain in their shoulders?!

I've had this since about 10 weeks I think - now 17.5. Pain all over my shoulders - concentrated in my shoulder blades, but sometimes above, sometimes below, and only very rarely non-existent. It's driving me bats - seen various osteopaths/chiropractors, but no relief yet. Saw a great pilates woman who said that a) I'm hyper mobile, so that plus the relaxin means I'm basically like a puppet with the strings cut and b) that my breasts have grown loads (from a C cup to a G Confused) so that's putting lots of strain on the area.

Mainly, I'm just worried that it's not a pregnancy thing, and I'm therefore going to struggle like mad when the baby arrives. At the minute I'm having to work from home as it hurts too much to sit in a chair at the office; the thought of struggling through early baby-days when everything hurts this much is NOT fun!

Aaaanyway -was just wondering if anyone else had had similar/was able to tell me I'll be magically better once the baby arrives?!

Does it feel muscular?
You can get a weird shoulder tip pain which can be a sign that there is excess pressure on your diaphragm and should be checked out by your GP or MW. If it's muscular then that's not the issue, and I don't really know if it is or isn't a pregnancy thing - someone else might have more knowledge though.

Have you had your dating scan? Just wondering along the same lines as PP, shoulder pain CAN be a sign of ectopic pregnancy, so do be wary of that if you haven't yet had a scan

If its muscular, sadly there isn't a lot that can be done, SPD is caused by the same thing (excessive relaxin) and all they can do for that is throw painkillers at you
