I'm pregnant with baby two (16 weeks) and have a nine month old. Planned though.

Jut to reassure you, most people have said in the long run its easier. Wht I feel is that years ago, it was the norm.

My two boys are 11 months apart OP. Its been hard at times but so rewarding to see them start to play together and become wee friends. The first thing they do in the morning is look for each other.

My eldest can't remember a time when his brother wasn't around . I felt guilty that he didn't get long being my only baby but I think the benefits outweigh the bad bits (nappies. Neverending nappies)

And ds1 didn't walk or sleep through the night until he was around 13/14 months. Was a zombie for a bit. It all passes....

I found out I was expecting dc4 when dc3 was 14 weeks, so I totally know how you're feeling! I also have a 3 and 9 year old. It will be fine it might take you a few weeks to get your head around it but just imagine them playing together and also they will enjoy doing the same things at the same times.
Im almost 24 weeks now and usually have tough pregnancies, the first few weeks were tiring and I know it will tough at the end but at the moment things are much better than I thought they would be.:)

so how old will dc3 be when dc4 is born? thanks everyone for your replies I think im more scared of looking after my son whilst pregnant and feeling like crap thats if the pregnancy lasts as ive had seven miscarriages befor my son was born so the odds arnt great so im also worrying about that aswell x

15mo age gap here. DS is now 9 weeks. Tbh it's been great and so much easier than I had imagined. It helps that DS is a great wee soul - brilliant sleeper and fantastic feeder. The complete opposite to DD! She has taken to him really well after an initial boisterous period. What does help is that DD is in crèche 3 days a week. My employer continues to pay my childcare vouchers as they only offer statutory mat pay. If this is an option for you I would explore it. It's really nice to get a break and have the opportunity to go to baby groups with just me and DS - swimming, baby yoga etc

I have a 9 month old son and I'm 20 weeks pregnant with dc2.. So if she will arrive on due date they will be 13 1/2 month apart..

It is not easy being pregnant an carrying a baby around. And with the bump getting bigger.. My son is so lazy he doesn't want to crawl or play on his own.. But at least I don't suffer from pregnancy symptoms this time around or have gall bladder attacks.. So I enjoy this pregnancy very much..

Congrats
