Someone posted last week about suggestions for a father to be, father's day present.

I know someone recommended a book on pregnancy for men that was whitty and not patronising. I just can't find the thread. I know there is another thread on here about father's day presents but I don't think its the same thread.

Anyone know or can point me to the thread. I guess im running a little late on organising this. I do have cool card ordered, i pride myself on cool cards. I do think this is a great opportunity to get dh a book on pregnancy and I don't want to miss it.

Thanks!

If it was the one I recommended it was Fatherhood: The Truth by Marcus Berkmann

DH keeps coming up with little facts he learned from it; it's very sweet : ) not so much a factual/informative/advice book as anecdotes and humour, I think, but he still seems to have learned a lot.

I don't know which thread it was but I've ordered this book for my Husband as a Father's Day gift. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/0091929792
Seems to have the best reviews out of all the other dad to be books on amazon

There's one called the expectant dad's hand op which I've bought for DH and he is enjoying. It has quite a lot about labour in and how he can support you / be a good birth partner and advocate.

"The expectant dad's handbook" not hand op! Oh well could've been worse and autocorrected to handjob, which coincidentally is all DH is getting at the mo...
