Hi everyone and anyone who may be able to help, I'm now 20weeks pregnant with twins and find there's not a lot of places I can fine valuable information just a lot of myths and tales.I was hoping someone may know where to find information because I'm running out of ideas. Even asked a random lady in a shop the other day that had recently had twins, probablyt he most helpful advice I've had so far

Have you been on the tamba website and twins uk one? I'm 14+2 with twins. Found the multiples thread on here to be quite quiet, though if you have any questions, I'm sure someone with experience would answer.
My biggest debate at the moment is what pushchair to get. Oh and congratulations! Grin

Thank you and congrats to you too, I don't think I've come across those. But to help you a little bit after much research and testing out the different pushchairs if you have the money go for the bugaboo donkey, it's the easiest to munover, light and not as bulky as the rest.

Hiya, my id twins are now 12 days old. As pp said try tamba and twins uk. Also have alook if there is a twins club close by you can go to. If not speak to your community mw to see if she can point you in direction of one or a friendly mum that can offer support. I didn't have a group close by and spoke to a mum instead which helped loads. I'm happy to answer any questions. Congrats btw x

Congratulations.

I'm also pregnant with twins 16+5. I've been looking on twinsuk. Had a quick look at tamba, is it worth subscribing to?

Was you given any information at the hospital when you found out it was twins?
I was given an email address for someone who runs multiple pregnancy antenatal classes, they are based at my local hospital and are free, am hoping that they will be quite helpful.

Thanks for the advice so far and congratulations Smile I wasn't really given much info at my hospital apart from all the warnings like preeclampsia and what not to eat and was just advised to search for some antenatal classes , I do have my next scan tomorrow maybe I'll be able to get some more info..

Congratulations, I have twin girls who are 20 months. I find Tamba forums quite helpful and there is a lot of information on past posts if you have a search. You will need to join Tamba before you can read and post there.

I would recommend reading Mothering Multiples - Karen Kerkhoff Gromada.

Facebook have some very active twin groups, some of them are private/secret but if you know any twins mums on them they will add you.
There are also some great twin selling groups on Facebook too. Twins Preloved is one of them.

Congratulations Thanks - do you know what you are having?
