Hi girls,

I'm just wondering what to expect. I have my 7 week IVF scan on tuesday( terrified). Have Been here before and unfortunately it ended in a blighted ovum. I had some brown discharge on weeks 4 and 5 this time including one day which was very scary where it was more like reddy pink when i wiped on one occasion.

The spotting stopped two weeks ago, but as we have the scan on tues, should I be considering missed miscarriage? I'm wondering because it happened last time, and also because of the spotting.... I did have Brown spotting last time too, but it lasted from the bfp until I found out at. 8 weeks that it was a blighted ovum so I'm hoping the fact it has stopped might be a good sign.

thoughts or experiences anyone?

I had brown spotting and bleeding at 4 weeks. I assumed it was a period because I'd have a negative test a few days before. I'm now 38 weeks.
Hopefully it will be as good news for you.

I had terrible cramps and pink discharge on the day my period was due so just a few weeks in ( had a faint positive pg test)...i'm now 36 weeks...so fingers crossed it is simply an implantation bleed.

I had nine days of dark brown bleeding with spots of red! I'm now 26 Weeks pregnant :) everyone's implantantation bleeds can be different, but I honestly thought that mine was an early miscarriage. It's just so hard to know. I didn't do a pregnant test that month because if I was losing the baby I didn't really want to know. It's only the next month that I realised! And from the scan dates! Good luck

i had brown spotting at 7 weeks, 11 weeks, and then quite continuously until about 25 weeks (I'm now 28 weeks). Had an early scan at the EPU after the bleeding at 7 weeks and they said only to come back if it changed or got worse, which it never did. every midwife and doctor i spoke to about it was very unconcerned, although a cause was never found. i hope you get a similar outcome - good luck.
