My husband has recently got a new job and is spending a lot of time travelling both in the UK and overseas for meetings. He's got trips coming up to South Africa, for example, that he can't not make, but he also really doesn't want to miss the birth. How long before the baby's due date would you recommend he tries to avoid travel?

My DP also travels a lot with work, very very rarely overseas but can still be a good 6 hours away from home. His work have agreed, actually it was his bosses insistence, that the two weeks before my due date my DP will be working from home only, as in, from our home office. Under no circumstances is he to attend any meetings.

I think 2 weeks before due date is fair. Although I understand if you would prefer it to be 4 weeks.
