Am I weird to actually really like Braxton Hicks?

Just that really, this is my fourth pregnancy and with every single one except my first, I've had BH from very early on and I actually really like the way they feel. Is this abnormal LOL? I get them all the time! My MW never seemed too concerned and I've carried all of mine except my first overdue. Does any one else like them or am I the only one?

Can't say that I like or dislike them lol.

The thing I like about them is that when real labour kicks in it's easier to know the difference,
If I had never had them and got them at 40 weeks (like some people do) I would probably think that it's labour.

Lol you say that but I didn't know with my third, I almost ignored them because I had so many false labours towards the end.

I like them too!
Makes me feel like the end is in sight?

I've been getting them since about 34 weeks, 37 now.
Not even sure if they are BH, but it's like a pulsating of the belly area then it goes hard, then relaxes again... might just be the baby farting or something, lol

CarCiKoTab · 29/05/2014 14:31

Lol that sounds like BH to me.

I still dont understand what they actually are and no one seems able to describe them to me! Im guessing I cant have experienced them?!

CarCiKoTab · 29/05/2014 15:31

They are like your womb contracting which causes your belly to go hard. I can't explain how it feels you just know its happening lol. They are basically like false contractions, supposedly preparing your body for the real thing.

To me it feels like when a snake is coiled round your arm and it sqweezes then lets go abit then sqweezes again....only its your entire bump lol

Haggisfish3 · 30/05/2014 00:35

Yes you're weird Smile

I get them all the bloody time and they can be so uncomfortable! It feels like Baby has a really boney bum

DramaAlpaca · 30/05/2014 21:42

I used to like them too. I can still remember how they felt and I was last pregnant 16 years ago. I can't remember what labour felt like, though.
