Dying my hair?

I was planning on dying my hair tonight/ ready for the weekend
It's just to keep on top of my colour and will be an all over brown box dye.. Is this ok? I'm 12 and a half weeks.

I think you'll be fine :) You need to get in contact with ALOT of colour over a period of time for it to be any way an issue...they still haven't linked anything conclusively. I've had my highlights done twice already and the baby is going along just fine :)

I've been carrying on with dying mine brown so hopefully it is ok! The only thing I've noticed is that my scalp is a lot more sensitive so I do try not to let it get in contact with my scalp. Luckily I've only needed to do it twice this pregnancy, I can imagine if you were doing it every few weeks then it wouldn't be very good.

Ah thanks :) yeah it lasts for a while with me was last dyed in January so I'm hoping will only need to dye once or twice ! Thankyou!!

Two midwives and a doctor have all told me it's fine - just make sure room is well ventilated and you put the dye on for the minimum time. The 'hair dying' fear is out dated according to them - hair dyes are way safer now than they used to be....

Yeah the NHS say it is fine, our rules on home dyes are so strict.

In fact i was told the only reason many don't try it in the 1st 12 weeks is it can give you a rash/the smell can trigger morning sickness (no harm to baby).
