Pelvic pain when the baby moves

So I've been getting pelvic girdle pain for the last few weeks, but usually only when walking. In the last couple of days i've suddenly got it when he's been shifting position (he's been moving around a lot). I'm 35 + 5. Does this new pain indicate he's engaging?

Yes I believe so. I am currently 36+5 and I get the same thing. On the plus side I have had no rib pain for weeks!

I get shifts between my ribs and my pelvis. The rubs are uncomfortable and the pelvis is painful. However he spends far more time up in my ribs than in my pelvis, so let's hope he arrives soon after properly engaging.

You should know as your bump will drop low and your thighs and your womanly bits may start to ache too. Another few weeks and it will probably happen;-)

My womanly bits (nice phrase!) are more tender. Kinda sore in fact. If everyone gets this I have no idea how they have sex to bring on labour.

I have it too. More in the pm than morning. As this is not my first baby, it bobs around a bit so sometimes head down, other times feet in ribs. Sometimes I seem to have both (bit worried that baby is large, but midwife says no)
