Feeling A LOT better at 10+2 - bad news?

I have felt horrible for the last 5 weeks or so, incredibly nauseous and exhausted. But I all of a sudden seem a lot better which is making me very paranoid.

I saw a heartbeat at 8+2 but I guess that doesn't mean it's all going to be ok at the dating scan does it? Feeling very worried Sad

Sorry I meant to say I'm just shamelessly posting for reassurance that symptoms can go about this time and all can still be fine.

Symptoms will fluctuate, and do tend to settle at the end of the first trimester. Try to relax!

No symptoms isn't a cause for panic, you might just be one of the lucky ones who gets off lightly with morning sickness. Some people don't get any symptoms at all. Likewise some people feel better one day and worse the next. If you've seen the heartbeat already that is a sign of healthy baby.

Try not to worry about it!

Something happens around 9/10 weeks when the placenta takes over when a lot of people feel a lot better (this happened to me). I know it's hard but try not to worry.

I had a week of feeling a lot better which made me worry about 10 weeks. Then came back with a vengeance. Now 13+1 and had 2 scans - one small bleed so got 11 weeks and 12 weeks scan. All ok. Try not to worry ( my other half would snort if he read that as I am a worrier!)

I felt a lot less sick at 9 weeks then it came back again at 12 weeks. Just had my scan and it's definitely in there with a heartbeat, right size etc and wriggling! My boobs are really sore some days and fine on others... I was worried too until I had the scan today.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I was very philosophical about the whole thing at the beginning "que sera, sera" but I think as I get closer to my scan date I'm feeling a lot more attached to the whole idea. Trying not to worry though
