That's it really, I'd upload a pic of my bloated belly but it will shock people! I feel I've put on loads and I'm going to be a whale. I ate to stop feeling/being so sick, now I'm just hungry.

I know I shouldn't whinge but Sad

Don't worry. I was very bloated then too and eating helped to control my nausea. It will be easier when that passes.

My belly is huge at almost 11 weeks. I'm having to give up my bread free diet due to ms and it's bloating me terribly!

I completely understand Worried. I'm 9 wks tomorrow ad feel like a fat lump! :-( If its any comfort, several people online say they started off big, but didn't get huge in the end. I guess different people just grow at different times in different ways! Hang on in there! xx

I put on a stone from Wk 6 to Wk 10! Just an eating machine cos if my stomach got any way empty I'd feel so sick. And I ate chips constantly - all hangover food.

But it does ease off. I did plateau and now (15 weeks on Monday) am craving a lot of salads! Shock

But you do feel gross in the first trimester, no doubt.

With ds2 I had to get maternity clothes at 8 weeks, but was still in my normal size 10 jeans at 30+ weeks. Guess it was early bloating and it evened out.

I am pregnant again, have gained a stone since finding out. Am 13 weeks and huge but found out yesterday that it is twins! So that is another possibility.

yay - congrats Arghhelpme! Exciting news! xx

I'm 7 weeks & huge!!! None of my jeans fit me in living in leggings! X

Please don't worry so - I did too, both dcs, there's plenty of time to lose weight after birth, try and figure out how to fit exercise into your post baby schedule (when recovered from the birth) and try and enjoy the rest of the pg. We waste so much time feeling bad, eat good things for the baby and see it as a really short period of time in retrospect that's worth all the extra weight.

I put on loads of weight in the first trimester, and now I'm in the second, I'm eating healthier again and I think I have lost some of that fat I gained from eating so much junk to fend off nausea.
Try not to let it get you down. The first trimester is soooooo hard! I'm 21 weeks now and have found pregnancy has got easier and easier since around week 9, and actually been feeling pretty good last few weeks. Got energy back and feel able to exercise again.
