This is my second baby and Id heard that movement can usually be felt earlier. With pg #1 I felt movement at around 17wks. This time nothing.

I had a MMC in between so am fretting that something is wrong....

I felt movements at 18-19wks this time round and it's my second time too. Even then they were very faint and no one else could feel them. DP can feel the baby move only now at 21wks.

When is your next scan? If you are really worried can you book a private scan for reassurance? Or ask your MW for a foetal heart monitor test? Maybe if you hear the heartbeat you will feel less stressed?

If you are worried then call the midwife and speak to her/him.

That said, I felt my first extremely early. My second was very late, I think around 20 wks and even then I didn't feel her much until I got properly big - that was because my placenta was at the front. I think this is quite normal.

15w woul be very early - I think it's just with 2nd babies you recognise the sensation earlier as you have felt it before, but sounds like you did very early last time.
Position of placenta can affect when you feel it. I have been quite late with DC2 and 3 as have had anterior placenta both times. So actually felt first baby earlier.

15 / 16 weeks would still be very early even for a second pregnancy imho. But if you concerned you could look at getting a private scan - that's what I did in my last pregnancy and it was worth putting a stop to the worrying.

Ring your midwife, but I wouldn't expect her to be worried in the slightest. It's still really early!

My MW is quite cross with some websites babycentre where women brag of feeling their babies at silly early times (before they can move, basically)... since forums, she says worried phonecalls at 12-20 weeks have shot up. And all she can tell them is it's normal not to feel anything.

Hey op were almost exact same stage! I am 15 weeks 4 days!! This is my 2nd and I haven't felt anything yet and don't feel my bump is growing much.

Would love to keep in touch throughout seeing as we're so close together
