worried about listeria. .

hi guys, so today I had a pub roast dinner. .. the potatoes was cold and the chicken was warm but all white no pink I think.. can I contact listeria from this?

Incredibly unlikely - listeria is actually very rare. I believe under 20 cases nationally in the last decade or something like that.

Unfortunately sounds like a dinner that went a bit cold. :( Not nice but not dangerous.

Yep - UK figures are nothing like the USA. According to the HPA, there were 147 confirmed cases of listeria in the UK in 2011, 16% of which were pregnancy related.

Yuck! Sounds like a nasty pub dinner with cold potato. What a disappointment!

I agree, very unlikely to be a listeria risk though. It's very rare, and those aren't particularly risky foods.
