just a minI rant really...

I'm 22wks pg with dc2, I've put on about 10lb since getting pregnant. I was overweight before getting pg anyway but still. In the last two weeks, three people have told me I look like I'm 'ready to pop' or good luck for my 'imminent arrival.' These were all woman whom I'd literally just met at seperate work events. I'm not ready to pop I'm only half way there!! I'm self conscious enough about my size without people making comments.

Argh, I think I'm over sensitive as I have a lot going on right now and struggling slightly with being pg (although Im excited about this baby I'm not enjoying being pregnant).

Oh OP- it's not nice getting these comments but I must say I'm having Dd2 (am almost full term) and no one even notices! I am HUGE. Sometimes I'll be walking (hobbling) slowly in the street and people will get all huffy like 'move out the way' and I'm thinking 'can't you see I can't move!!! Hello!?!? Giant pregnant belly!!' Argh! Also no one gives me a seat on the bus. But that could just be because people are stinking rude. I remember getting a lot more chivalry when pregnant with DD1! Congrats on your pregnancy. Don't let them get you down. They mean well.
