Chopsypie · 19/04/2014 20:53

Heavy and sensitive.

OldLadyKnowsSomething · 19/04/2014 20:55

My normally small boobs grew several sizes and set rock hard. Very painful to touch (but they looked great. Grin )

Boogles91 · 19/04/2014 20:58

Mine felt heavy like i was going to fall over all the time, sensitive to the point id notice when id get up and move and my gawd if id catch the corners of furniture >.< pain just goes through them! I also noticed a difference in how quick theyd swell up to when i was due my period. As always a week beforet was due theyd swell and get sore. Like id go up two cup sizes in a week when preggers, and just normal swelled when due period. Also hurt to just put my bra on and take it off

SassehMonsta · 19/04/2014 21:05

When i get up in the morning, the gravity change from lying down to standing up aches like nobody's business! Tender to the touch, especially when poked by the dog jumping up.... they have started to get a bit bigger but not too much at the moment (6 weeks).

MrsBungle · 19/04/2014 21:06

Mine skways felt bruised.

theborrower · 19/04/2014 21:07

Like bowling balls - felt really heavy and sensitive. Was one of my first clues, it was before my period was due.

StetsonsAreCool · 19/04/2014 21:10

Bruised is a good way of describing it. I'm very aware of them if I squeeze my arms into my body and it hurts like fuck if DD throws herself at me gives me an enthusiastic hug.

PuppyMummy · 19/04/2014 21:27

mine didn't hurt at all!

thisisnotanamechange · 19/04/2014 21:36

Thanks for the replies everyone. ...problem for me is they are often painful and are already huge (32ff)...which is probably why they always hurt! So it's difficult to tell if it is usual hurting or pg hurting...

squizita · 19/04/2014 21:41

Mine didn't feel swollen (they got bigger and are still going but weren't hard) but they did feel bruised and tender inside. Like if you poke a bruise.

treaclesoda · 19/04/2014 21:43

My first pregnancy wasn't planned and it was the sore boobs that alerted me. I remember rolling over onto my front in bed and just thinking 'that's weird. ouch.'

I really can't describe it though, it's the only time in my life I've ever experienced it, and it just felt so unmistakably different.

MildDrPepperAddiction · 19/04/2014 21:46

Itchy itchy itchy! It eased after a while.

SicknSpan · 19/04/2014 22:36

Tender like when they first started growing during puberty. Ouch! Good luck x

thisisnotanamechange · 19/04/2014 22:38

Haha Thanks but puberty was far too long ago for me to remember that! Grin

tabicat · 19/04/2014 23:39

Mine are just starting to ease now at 10 wks pg... the difference for me between pre-menstrual tenderness I used to get and pg tenderness was that they are really sore underneath and up the sides. Rather than general all over tenderness.

ashtrayheart · 20/04/2014 00:07

I don't remember, the first sign for me was always the metallic taste in my mouth and sensitivity to smells!

Boogles91 · 20/04/2014 00:27

I remember when i used to be a g cup the aching because theyre so big. Trust me youd know the difference between these aches. They do go hard as somebody else said as your ducts are preparing themselves n wot not. Also the bruised feeling...i imagine its what it would feel like if you had surgery on them and they are recovering lol

Jojo1987 · 20/04/2014 00:33

I'm just coming upto 6 weeks now and my boobs have been sore for about 4 weeks now but have gotten so much worse over the last week even the shower hurts haha!
I'm small chested usually too but my god these babies are getting massive already ;-) certainly not complaining about this lol!
I tend to find lying in a hot bath helps me with pain!

Nocomet · 20/04/2014 01:35

Very odd hot, tingly, difficult to describe and only for a few hours.

Very distinctive, I was pretty certain I was expecting DD1 because of the feeling despite having been trying 18 months and I was absolutely certain when they felt like that again
For DD2.

StudyFullTime · 20/04/2014 11:34

nipples hurt like a bugger if the shower hits them directly, boobs feel heavy and achey and have grown 2 bloody cup sizes and I'm only 9 weeks Shock

RedPony · 20/04/2014 17:42

mine felt heavy and bruised and they even looked slightly bruised as the veins were closer to the surface. I was convinced DP had been having a secret fondle when I was asleep Grin
this was a suprise pregnancy so there was no symptom spotting

JuniDD · 20/04/2014 18:45

I described it to DH as being like sunburn but all over and INSIDE.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 20/04/2014 19:34

I'm a FF cup too so I can relate, but the swollen, heavy, pregnant pain is completely different to the every day big boobs pain! My back feels like it's been karate chopped as well. I usually hate to wear a bra but the pain from gravity when I take it off now is awful. Hope you get your BFP soon Smile

Elastigrrrl · 20/04/2014 20:09

No pain, just growth. In later pregnancy this has come to worry me, as my Nct teacher said the pain and tingling was a sign your breast milk hormones were there, making me wonder if mine just aren't.
