PoppySeedBun · 19/04/2014 14:00

Well done kitty for starting a new thread.
No news here Sad
Found this link on another thread indicating that even with a few contractions it could still be weeks to go ...
m.birth.com.au/physical-signs-of-prelabour/differences-between-prelabour-contractions-and-first-stage-labour#A2H

So trying not to get ahead of myself.

CatsCantFlyFast · 19/04/2014 14:04

hi, I yhink I may have joined this a while ago but it's a very fast moving thread... im 33 weeks tomorrow but have got an irritable uterus so mw say poss chance of going early (seriously doubt it though dc1 was late)
Scary to think its almost over and is over for some of you - congratulations btw!

Angelina77 · 19/04/2014 15:56

Afternoon all, I'm lounging in bed while partner is at the park with step-daughter. Very uncomfortable now, can barely lean forward as it feels like there's something crushing my rib cage constantly, and always on the right hand side.

Have any of you 30+ weekers felt the baby drop down at all? I hope that helps when it finally happens, not sure I can wait another 8-9 weeks though.

Hi longlegged, same due date as me! Race you :)

BlindKitty · 19/04/2014 17:36

morerum did you have a slightly different name before?

angel hope weekend with sd isn't too tiring!
Think my bump is starting to drop but still getting a LOT of indigestion and high feelings so not sure.

morerummorefun · 19/04/2014 17:44

blindkitty yes my nn was donna1984, my bumps dropped its lovely to be able to breath again. . . but then theres the waddle! Heartburn still an excellent issue for me also im taking ranitidine 2x daily and for most it helps but the occasional glug of gaviscon helps haha!

BlindKitty · 19/04/2014 21:39

Welcome newbies! Tell us your story...

Angelina77 · 20/04/2014 00:42

Haha, nice typo :)

Weekend has been good so far, thanks. It's the longest she's stayed with us and it's settled into normal family time, which is nice.

BlindKitty · 20/04/2014 04:29

That's great news angel, your obviously putting your mummy skills to good use already!

So, as you can see I'm in the 4.00 club again (hip pain oh and now I'm hungry grrr). Only thing that usually helps us getting into spare bed but I've obviously pissed Dh with my tossing and turning as he's beaten me to it!

Bunnygirlie · 20/04/2014 09:45

Ooh an dicking station kitty I expect that will be the last thing on your mind when giving birth!
Hope you are feeling better.

Horrid start to the morning here, sickness always seems worse after a late night when I've overdone it. Spent half hour hugging the loo whilst trying to stop a double nosebleed. Oh what fun! Easter Sad

Hope you are all having a better Easter Sunday! Easter Smile

BlindKitty · 20/04/2014 10:05

Ha yes, hoping for more coming out than going in!!!
