Bushy lay down a cellar! Or, regift. You will not have to buy presents for a whole year.

Kale and mango juice is actually nice. Just, the dino didn't think so.

Today I had M&S sushi (no raw fish obvs) and fruit for lunch, and didn't feel sick at all! Maybe it is passing!

Eep, 12 w scan on Tues and already having periodic qualms. At that point I should be 30% of the way through, but, but, what if...... ARGH.

FeatherFeather11 · 18/07/2014 23:27

Ah, man, rosie's post on the Berrie thread just broke my heart. She's really going through it right now. Sad

bushy bit jel that you're now off for 6 weeks! Enjoy every second! Mmm...wine...seconding rp on the cellar idea!

rp Tuesday! Wow! Sending you strong Berrie vibes. And to you too win for Monday.

Just spent the day cooking all sorts for the MiL's summer party tomorrow. Forgot how much I love it as have been on The Beige for what seems like ages now and not been cooking much.

Embarrassing question, but, er, has/is anyone else having issues with going to the loo? I don't mean for a wee. Blush it's been a good 24hours or more since the last time and I'm starting to feel a bit weird. skuttles off prudishly to hide under a rock

jessplussomeonenew · 19/07/2014 09:40

Feather, afraid you've come across yet another of the joys of pregnancy - I think early on it's the hormones that slow everything down, then later on there's not much room which has a similar effect. The usual upping your water and fibre intake helps (currently tucking into a bowl of branflakes).

It has been an ongoing source of wonder and annoyance how every part of the body is affected in some way... Everything but the ears so far, and I'm sure there'll be something!

winohhh · 19/07/2014 10:18

I definitely had issues with constipation early on feather. It's somewhat improved now. I'm trying to eat more fruit!

I had a missed call from an unknown number yesterday. I was super nervous thinking it was about harmony results until I remembered feather said their number comes up. Phew! Still called them to check they hadn't called though! (Obsessive!).

Glad you were feeling less sick yesterday RP! Hopefully you've turned a corner. I'm feeling much less sick these days (12w5d) although had a bit of a relapse yesterday, I think because I was so tired, due to lack of sleep. Ergh.

greatbigbushybeard · 19/07/2014 10:46

Yup feather constipation!! Get those bran flakes into you ASAP. I experienced what you talked about recently so ate some dates and fruits also lots of water too. Veg should prob help too so big salad? You can come out from your rock now Wink

Poor rosie, I felt really sad for her too. I think if a relationship is already strained, ttc is not going to help and then if you succeed, the baby then puts a lot of strain on too. Your comment was lovely to her.

Anyone else finding they're just a lot hungrier more often?

CatsCantFlyFast · 19/07/2014 19:17

I have bad news...if you think constipation is tmi on this thread you are going to have a shock! Wait until the conversation drifts to massaging your perenium

RevoltingPeasant · 19/07/2014 23:12

I know, poor Rosie. DH and I went through something like that a couple of years back. Sometimes I think he is a lot less enthusiastic about the whole thing than I am, and I wonder slightly about how our relationship will be impacted when the dino arrives.

Feather you are not alone. I will say no more. Other than other threads have said a laxative called Lactulose is safe, but I haven't gone there yet.

FeatherFeather11 · 19/07/2014 23:56

"Massaging the perenium" - gives merk wide-eyed stare while backing out of the copter. Seriously though, is that a thing?!? Please say it's isn't.

Thanks for all the bum-to-flow advice. Will get on the bran flakes and fruit asap.

rp do you think it's a self preservation thing with your oh? As in maybe he's not allowing himself to get too excited yet?

win all is going to be grand on Monday - just you wait!

bushy yep, I'm hungrier more often and it seems to strike without warning. I go from perfectly fine to absolutely starving within minutes. I'm headed for chubby-ville.

jess I've had ringing ears a bit - like they block over briefly and it all gets a bit weird sometimes, googled it and it's apparently common in pregnancy, so ears don't get a free ride either.

jessplussomeonenew · 20/07/2014 09:08

No, Feather, that isn't a thing, it's all fine . And even if it were a thing, it's nothing you would need to think about until third trimester.

Bunnygirlie · 20/07/2014 09:27

Greetings!

How are you all?

RP scan dread is perfectly normal! I've had it each time! I had a bit of a freak out at work just before my 12w scan.

feather apricots! Every day keeps constipation away, well it does with me anyway.

Btw kale and mango sounds minging lol

Ha ha merk I can't believe you mentioned the p word! talk about freaking the poor newbies out Grin

I'm off to decorate the new thread.

greatbigbushybeard · 20/07/2014 09:29

Lol at the backing out of the chopper. Yes feather it is a thing! meant to reduce risk of, ahem, whispers tearing.

rp is your dh also in general less excited about things than you are e.g. Holidays? I think from what you've said he seems really sweet about Dino but remember it's not happening to them so they may not feel it so keenly. Also agree with feather could well be a self preservation thing. My dh will say little things about it and bump, quite sweet really and makes me feel better about frumpville.

Weird with the ears! And I am starting to get hungry!!

Had a lovely day yesterday, went to cinema and meal out, flipping lovely- it did come with a glass of prosecco which I drank v slowly and ate everything- fish cakes, beef and Guinness pie, potato dauphinois, broccoli and ice cream so don't think it could have much effect... I had a sip and if not nice was going to give to dh but it was really nice... was marginally worried about the Guinness but it was cooked so wouldn't have had any alcohol in it.

RevoltingPeasant · 20/07/2014 13:21

Bushy saw about your NDN on the other thread - lovely as your baby will be only about 6-7 months younger, so naturals playmates!

On tearing, I have already decided on getting an Epi-No if this goes ahead.

I think DH is worried he will be a bad father. Or rather, he is unconfident about it. He is not naturally a kid person but I think he will take to the dino.... He is very lovely with nieces and pets. I think it's just not real yet for him. He is very supportive of me, though.

Bunnygirlie · 20/07/2014 15:27

I don't think the dads feel it's real till they can feel the kicks through your tum, or maybe not even till baby is here. Things are so immediate for us as our bodies change but they are still so distanced from it

Does that make sense?

CatsCantFlyFast · 20/07/2014 15:29

I read about the epi no and everything I researched suggested it didn't work!

CatsCantFlyFast · 20/07/2014 15:32

Er one of you preggers needs to start a new thread ASAP. Bunny its prob your turn...

Bunnygirlie · 20/07/2014 15:36

On it like a car bonnet prof
