Dd has d+v bug.

I am 39+6 pregnant. What if I go into Labour with d+v? Or dh gets it and can't be with me?

I feel quite low and anxious today and should be excited about the birth Sad

I had norovirus at 20 weeks with DC1. As nasty as it was, it went in 48 hours – just had to make sure I drank loads of fluids as got v dehydrated v quickly. The doctor wrote me a script for some rehydrating powder, which really helped make the most of what little fluid I could keep down…

Worrying about whether you or DH will get it won't change any outcome. I think you're letting hormones get the better of you ;) easily done when you're dealing with a sick child too, I know, but just be ruthless with hygiene and keep DD in isolation… although D&V is nigh-on impossible to avoid if one of the family gets it IME.

Good luck!

Im not worried about being ill but rather dh not being able to be at birth.

All that you can do is be impeccable with hygiene. Wash your hands lots, keep them away from your mouth, use antibacterial cleaner for all surfaces, toilets and door handles.

Good luck. Xx
