Uterus feels slightly on the left

Hi. Have a feeling I'm about to display an incredible lack of knowledge of female anatomy with this one, but anyway.

I'm 9+4 on my second pregnancy and my uterus feels like it's over to the left. About 5 days after the birth of my daughter, the HV was palpating my stomach and mentioned something like that she could feel it over on the left but said not to worry, it'll all go back to place in good time, mumble mumble...actually I didn't really get her gist at all, what with being 5 days postpartum and stuff. But anyway: I can feel a bit of pressure over on the left, sort of above my left sitbone if that makes sense at all.
Has anybody experienced this or am I imagining it? And if not is it likely to be a problem? TIA.

I carried twice to my right and following a section with my second I was told I had a double uterus with my baby being in the "right horn".

Unfortunately my first pregnancy ended with a term still birth that could have been caused by this or not.

Thanks for sharing this tsw and I'm so sorry about your stillbirth, that must have been horrific.

I don't think that I have a double uterus, but it sounds like you had no idea either until your section with your second. Can they not see on ultrasound if the uterus is a double one? I suppose I will just mention what I'm feeling at my next appointment and take it from there.
