I cannot choose which one is better quality or better to use, they feel the same weight, push the same etc I just don't know which one will be better the xpedior is £250 inc car seat an the Orb is £300 no car seat, what would you do??

I need to look at both more, but I really like the Orb, just loved how easy it seemed to use.

peeapod · 07/04/2014 14:33

it depends on your needs I suppose. Do you need a car seat? Do you need the ability to swap and change the units around? The expedior is agreat all rounder imo but it really depends on what you actualy need from a transport for your child...

Weve got a silver cross 3d....brilliant it is. Cannot wait to start pushing lil man around init :D hehe id go with the one with the car seat as you never know when you might need it x

I know I will need a car seat but I don't drive myself, the only car seat I'd get with the orb that's fits it is the maxi cosi cabrofix( if that's how it's spelt ) which adds to price so I could go orb and a cheaper car seat as I prefer the look of the orb an materials seem better quality they both are very similar really. Confused!

We went for the orb and the maxi cosi cabrio fix not that I've used either seen as our baby isn't here yet, but we got the pram £245 because they had 100 pound off and the extra 15% I've noticed they've done this a few times since we bought ours so I would keep an eye out :)

Rockchick1984 · 07/04/2014 21:11

The basket is tiny on the orb, for that reason alone I wouldn't go for that one!!

Katecake · 07/04/2014 21:17

I'm going for the xpedia, I love it and also a good friend has had it and thought it was great, great price to

sillymeagain · 07/04/2014 21:39

The woman in mothercare really raved about the expedior but said how bad the orb was and how many rhey had had returned due to faults. We didnt get eitherin the end as we wanted car seat base. Not sure if that helps good luck

I have been trying to decide between these two prams as well. I'm leaning more towards the xpedior at the moment as its probably better value for money with the car seat included. Not sure I want to spend another 100 quid plus on a separate car seat when baby won't be using it for that long anyway.

I have the xpedior. I actually like how easy it is to switch the car seat and pram base as we had to move a bit further out whilst looking for a new house so needing to drive to school so it's good to have the car seat to clip in to the wheels then switch to the pram if I go in to town it anywhere else after.
The rain over is annoying as it can only be on or off. There is nothing to clip it too to keep it on when you go in and out of shops etc so if it's not raining but looks like it will rain you have to carry it in the basket. I have heard a lot of rain covers are line this now so not sure if that's the case with the orb too?
Xpedior easy to fold down although you have to fold down after taking the pram section off.
It is very light too. The pram is lighter than the car seat so pushing it is lovely.
I got the blue one before the colour package one came out so all car seat is blue and all pram cover etc. Not sure if you have chosen a colour but may be worth seeing if you can see if the original one is still available as this is cheaper than the colour package one. They may have discontinued it but I got it for £50 less in sept time. (DS born dec)

I have the xpedior I really liked it in the shop and managed to get it all for £200 haven't put it to practical use yet but the reviews seem good :)

We've ordered the Orb, thought it felt a bit more sturdier than the Xpedior and it looks slightly better quality too. We got it when it was £100 off and also ordered the Cabriofix, they price matched with Amazon so that was £73. In the end we got the whole lot with the carseat adaptors for what the pram should have cost full price alone. Was talking to a lady in the shop last week who had an unfortunate experience with her Xpedior, the carseat got stuck onto the chassis and she had to ring her DH to come and rescue her. I've heard the adaptors on both can be stiff but that's nothing a bit of WD40 won't solve. Suppose you'll hear bad and good things about both of them

I have the xpedior. I like it, dd seems very comfortable in it.
The instructions are very unclear and I got very stressed trying to put it together but managed eventually!

The basket fits loads in which is a massive bonus!

The straps on the car seat get twisted really easily but it's not the end of the world.
