Could I really be feeling movement at 11weeks?

Over the last few nights, I've been noticing that I can feel a funny twitchy, bubble-popping like sensation in what feels like where my uterus must be. I lie on my tummy to sleep and this is the only time I can feel it. I'm 11 weeks and this is my first pregnancy.

Maybe it's just wind?! Pretty certain I've not felt this kind of feeling before...

Squizita I agree - Quite a few of my family talked about feeling things from 10 weeks and it was hard to ignore or to feel like the odd one out saying 'nope, nothing', when they'd suggest that maybe I was just less in tune with my body, or that my foetus was somehow less strong than their alpha foetus!

Totally separate topic, but the drive on the internet to 'feel' earlier and earlier symptoms absolutely plays into the hands of the anti-choice movement

Sunny Yes, I never thought of that. Its interesting how people claim (online) it moves in reaction to things when all the development books say it cannot feel/react yet...
I'm sure some do feel random movements early but not as many as we're led to think online, mainly twins and so forth. And certainly not 1st trimester, the science just doesn't work!

Never my mum had twins and was a "didn't know she was pregnant till 14 weeks" case! Periods and everything!
My friend had a big singleton and got every symptom early.

It really is pretty random!

It's a nightmare! the app I told myself to step away from after I had a panic over not gaining any weight has emailed me my 15 week update this morning telling me I might feel something this week. Those stats of yours were helpful squiz.
