I am not going to rant about being pregnant, I need something to giggle at so I am asking you ladies what are the things that have set you off do far.

I have cried my heart out over the following.

Not having any frosties to eat

My boyfriend went shall we say 'down south' and commented I'd missed a hair shaving

Not having any chocolate nesquick(?) powder (this was about an hour ago and my poor boyfriend drove round 5 shops to find it to come back and realise we only had enough milk for half a pints worth)

The new colemans sheppards pie advert

Reasons I can't remember by the time someone asks me what wrong

My visiting regional director at work asking if I'm ok (as in a general everyday way)

Because my farts smell so bad

Because my work trousers where still wet

My boyfriend not hugging me for long enough (after a 5 minute hug)

Because I found a hole in my leggins.

That's the main tantrums so far (I'm 16 weeks gone!)

Would love to hear some of yours

I just cried cos I just got back from the shops to find we've run out of bin bags and the bins full :(

Foxsticks · 07/04/2014 16:27

I cried for a good 15 minutes because I have a cold and I couldn't breathe. Funnily enough crying didn't really help with that.

I cried because we were waiting for a timber delivery last week which didn't turn up until nearly 7pm. The delivery guy was Polish and it was his first day on the job. He said he'd got lost and was still working as no one had told him to stop. He still had 2 more deliveries to make after us. It upset me to think he was being exploited as he was foreign and didn't know any better Sad

morerummorefun · 07/04/2014 18:18

ElleDubloo · 07/04/2014 19:33

NauseousKitty · 07/04/2014 21:17

At Greys Anatomy when I realised two characters hadn't split up, they'd got married. And I love them apparently!

When DH fell asleep in he car, despite me saying he could.

When DD said "no, I want Daddy" and then proceeded to cuddle and kiss me as I looked upset.

Hormones suck! 6 weeks until D-day and my whole family cannot wait!

Gardeners world - no particular reason why!

NoIamAngelaHernandez · 07/04/2014 22:27

My gorgeous little brother is getting married next weekend to a lovely woman. I've just spent the best part of 2 hours in tears over what to write in their wedding card.

PigletUnrepentant · 07/04/2014 22:29

I used to cry watching Pet Rescue on TV. But also had a good woobly at my GP being late for my appointment. Had the same waiting for a tutorial at school Blush

Katekate77 · 07/04/2014 22:55

At about 28 weeks preggo with my twins we had a dominos pizza- I had a (large) 'create your own', I forget what was on it. Half way through I started sobbing my heart out....Grin

Hubby: why are you crying?
Me: I've just made such a good choice!

squizita · 08/04/2014 16:20

My mum told me about my sis (works in M&S) seeing a man who always used to come in with his disabled wife suddenly come in on his own looking sad and buying 'meals for one'. :(

This was after a convo about Peaches Geldof, just such a sad story I can't read the papers.

Tigerstar123 · 08/04/2014 19:20

Songs, such as 'always a woman to me'. The bit 'she earned her degree' gets me every time :-)

I put the washing out the other day. Then it started raining, so had to bring it all back in again. In the process, the mischievous pooch grabbed some out of my arm, ran across the garden and covered it all in mud. I cried buckets!!

SicknSpan · 08/04/2014 23:20

The "boy grows a single carrot" waitrose ad.

SJC2014 · 09/04/2014 18:20

This has made me feel so much better!! I thought I was just a nutter here are a couple of mine:

  • cried hysterically because my cat licked my tear from my face after I cried over the cesar dog food advert *because my cottage pie had barley any mince in it *because I dont feel like sex *because I can't go out *because I might get stretch marks *because my pants split over my arse because my butt has gotten so large *because I just felt like crying and howling and slapping my legs like a child
pictish · 09/04/2014 18:21

Hovis advert.

coffetofunction · 09/04/2014 22:49

Thought I'd add this one, happen earlier tonight,

I cried hysterically because I'd done my knitting wrong & continued to drop a loop. I phone my DH in floods of tears, who in turn panicked something serious had happened. I explain it had, that's I'd ruined my knitting & needed him to come home & fix it....

Following this my ds then need reassuring that I was in fact perfectly ok just upset over "my knitting"....

My DH did come home & fix it so everything is fine now & the earth continues to rota on its correct axis

ningthemerciless · 10/04/2014 10:04

Oh god because my OH made mashed tatties one night and chopped chunks of cheese to put in it instead of grating the cheese into it.

But I mean really - who puts CHUNKS of cheese into mash! I believe I was justified in throwing in the sink your honour.

IMissSleep · 10/04/2014 10:21

I cried because someone was on the phone outside my house. I could hear the whole conversation.
It annoyed me so much I cried Grin oh and because I didn't have any cheese for a pasta bake.
