36 weeks scan and baby weighs

6lbs 2oz how correct is that from an ultra sound seems big for 36 weeks or am I wrong?

At 34+6 mine weighed 5lb 14oz!

Its estimated that they gain half a pound a week from 35 weeks onwards so not that big in the grand scheme of things!

Sounds about right to me. My DS was 6lb born at 39 weeks and he was considered small. Average weight gain is approx 0.5lb a week so maybe an 8lb baby for you?

My 36 week scan showed baby at exactly the same as yours - 6lb 2oz! So hopefully fairly normal!! x
