Nub Theory - can anyone tell?

Helloo,
Had my scan today and read something about nub theory to tell the gender of the baby. I've looked at my scan and don't know what I'm looking for - does anyone have a clue? I've uploaded a couple of scan pics...

That one's difficult... The one on the left looks like a girl I think as it's split and looks parallel with the back bone. But then it does turn up slightly at the end so might be a boy but I would guess girl. Congrats!

You're at the same hospital as me

The nub is the white line near the reproductive region from what I gather, if it's above a certain degree it's a boy and below is a girl. Really, it takes an experienced sonography to see this and diagnose. However, you can see a white line which may or may not be the nub and I would say its a boy. But hey, it's 50/50, I'm not a sonographer

Sorry mine is sideways...I am rubbish at this theory... any guesses??

nc060 yours looks like my scan pic of DD2 - nub was just like yours!

LH I think in the first pic the nub looks ever so slightly upturned, could suggest boy, but close call I'd say 50/50!

I spent ages looking at nub theory with my two!

Ooh thats exciting, my gut was saying girl but we are not asking at the hospital or anything but my nose does get the better of me!! xx

mummymidwife, I'm having a home birth with the Rainbow team at St Georges. I had my first ds there and they were great.

I would guess girl for both.

With both this and my last pregnancy I went to the Ingender forums with pics to ask for their opinion. Funnily 100% guessed boy for the first, and 100% guessed girl for the second - they were spot on!
