Having gone through most of my pregnancy wearing not so sexy maternity bra's i was quite looking forward to buying some sexy underwear until i realised i needed to buy nursing bra's if i was going to breast feed, can anyone recommend any brands that do half decent ones, i can't bear to wear more frumpy underwear!!!!

On the figleaves website the la mere goes up to an E cup. I thought this nursing bra was the best by far, although I must admit I went back to my normal underwired bras fairly quickly and just popped my boob out the top never had any problems doing this and breast fed till eight months.

I love Bravado nursing bras - I used their Plus size when I was bf. They're plain, but really comfortable and look quite good in black.

Just had a look on Figleaves and they have since started doing these new microfibre ones which are a bit prettier. Might try one of these next time round!

i bought two from m&s last wek.
they are 'amelia lace' or something like that. a nice old dear measured me and kitted me out.
they were £16 each and dh says they are nice enough so thats good enough for me!

FaZ - re padded bras, some people don't like to have their 'nips' visible !!!!!!

(i'm not a fan of padded bras but find them useful in winter when i have to go outside at break and lunch and bring hte lines in from the school playground!!)

Figleaves do the Elle McPherson range. Little tip, check the Always pads boces when you are shopping as most of them have a voucher for money off underwear at figleaves.com. I bought a couple of boxes and used the vouchers for nursing bras etc....

another vote for Elle MacPherson bras. They're the only nursing bras I'll still be wearing once ds weans himself. Sooo comfy yet supportive, and they really last a long time - I've had my two for 3 years now, and they get worn all the time. Still look good.

ok so i think i've narrowed it down to the elle mcphearson bra's now, cheers for the figleaves/always tip, will check it out. Am packing my hospital bag n it says to make sure you have 2 nursing bra's for then, i've got 5 to go, dya think its topo early to buy them yet, should i wait??

You should check for other figleaves offers online as well, they usually have £5 if you spend £30 or something similar.
