I haven't used it for years, but am contemplating using on my belly so that every fresh MW/nurse/doctor doesn't stifle a gasp... Does anyone know if safe to use in third trimester? Especially since I'll be applying to abdomen, or does anyone have a packet handy they can check instructions of.

I used to get belly waxed, but it's really saggy at the mo and I can't bear the thought of it and I'm not shaving! So if Veet is out then I will make a secret video of all the reactions from HCPs to entertain you all!Shock

Well.. I've used it before with no issues, but that's a sample of one!

It's possible your skin will be more sensitive in pregnancy, but I've never heard of it being a huge no-no. I haven't researched it this time round but I vaguely recall doing so last time and deciding it was okay to use but who knows if anything has changed..

Veet seem to suggest it is okay: www.veet.co.uk/faqs.php?faq=2

It would just grow back spiky, so wouldn't really be any better than shaving.

I'd wax it. Just do small sections at a time and hold the skin taut. If you are in the 3rd trimester your skin can't be that saggy Grin
