I'm just trying to work out if this is normal or do I need to see the doctor. This morning I felt like my heart was going crazy, it lasted around 20mins. I have felt dizzy when I stand up and quite weak since then. I had just had breakfast and haven't had caffeine (apart from some choc) since bfpSad

It could be lots of things- panick attack, low blood pressure. I'd get it checked out for peace of mind. Smile

Sounds like initially low bp then panic. I had a few light headed moments like that before 12wks. Take it easy, try not to worry. Do ring the doc if you are concerned though.

thanks, it is quite a stressful pregnancy after 3 mc but I thought I was handling it ok.

Don't be hard on yourself. See the doc tomorrow if it'll put your mind at rest. Take it easy

Have you had your midwife booking appointment? Could be anaemia which would show up in the blood tests.

nearlyreadytopop · 16/02/2014 19:45

I had my booking at 9 weeks, I was told I would get blood results at next appointment at 16 weeks. I suppose if there was a problem they would get in touch before then?

You are nearly into second trimester when your blood pressure dips. If you have lowish blood pressure anyway that means a lot of dizziness. I would see the Dr just in case but if its just blood pressure there is not a lot you can do other than manage it until it goes up again.

You'd hope so, but there's no harm in ringing to ask. If there was a problem and somehow they missed contacting you that's a few weeks delay.

I was sent results in the post to put in my notes myself after the booking appointment. The next lot of results they advised me to chase up, although in the event there was a issue and I got a follow-up text from the GP before I managed to call in!
